Dancs-Piran is a summer ballet camp that allows dancers to actively spend their summer and unite dance with holidays. The camp is suitable for ballet dancers with advanced basic knowledge of classical ballet and / or modern dance technique, ballet dancers who attend secondary or higher – academic level of ballet education and professional ballet dancers. In 2020, Dancs-Piran will open its door for the eighth consecutive summer.
The International summer ballet camp lasts 14 days, and workshops take place from Monday to Saturday, when participants usually present their work at the public performance. Sunday is a day off. Participants also have time for summer activities, and can spend evenings visiting different events in Piran.
In addition to the course and workshop, Dancs-Piran also offers accommodation and meals at a favorable price, as well as 24-hour care for minors.

ELEMENTARY ADVANCED COURSE OF CLASSICAL BALLET
The Elementary advanced course of Classical ballet is suitable for all ballet students from the first to the sixth grade, or for everyone with good basic knowledge of classic ballet technique. To attend Elementary advanced course of Classical ballet no point shoes knowledge is required.
Those who are interested to attend the Elementary advanced course of Classical ballet you can apply for course on its full, but you can decide also for an optional choose of single workshops. Course on its full includes:

ADVANCE & PROFESSIONAL WORKSHOP OF CLASSICAL BALLET
Workshop is intended for Professional ballet dancers, students of ballet academies, students of ballet high schools and for students of higher – academic ballet educational institutions.
Those who are interested to attend the Advance & Professional workshop of Classical ballet can apply for course on its full, but they can decide also for an optional choose of single workshops. There is also an option for those who’ve soloist or higher status inside ballet companies.

The International Summer Ballet Camp Dancs-Piran takes place at the Ciril Kosmač Elementary School in Piran, Oljčna pot 24, 6330 Piran, Slovenia.
During the camp, the school will be transformed into a Slovenian summer ballet center with three ballet halls and facilities for overnight stays and meals for participants.

We would like to inform Interested Ballet dancers who intend to attend Advanced & Professional workshops of Classical Ballet that only applications for the entire duration of the International Summer Ballet Camp Dancs-Piran 2021 (from July 26, 2021 to August 7, 2021) are possible. Applications for attending workshops only in the first or only in the second week are no longer possible.
