Elementary Advanced course of Classical Ballet

GROUP

The course is intended for dancers who have advanced basic knowledge of the classical ballet and the dancers satisfactorily control dancing at the tip of their fingers. However, the knowledge of point-shoes technique is not a prerequisite to attend this course, as those dancers who do not master the techniques of dancing on point-shoes will take equal work, as those dancers who do point-shoes technique knowledge, on demi-point, that is, on soft ballet shoes.

This group includes, for example, pupils from the fourth to the sixth grade of the lower ballet school, pupils who have completed at least four years of ballet schooling.

In the Elementary advance course of Classical Ballet - GROUP, the participants will work and perform exclusively in the framework of the typical group work by the system “for all the same”.

Appropriate age is 12 – 16 years old


The younger or older dancers as prescribed as appropriate age can apply to the group too, if their level of knowledge is suitable for the Elementary Advanced Course of Classical Ballet – the group.

  • 1,5 hours of classical ballet training
  • 1,5 hours Point shoes technique and jumps workshop – group work
  • 1,5 hours of Contemporary dance workshop

It is possible to apply for the following terms of the Elementary Advanced course of Classical Ballet:

  • Entire seminar:

The Elementary Advance course of the classical ballet allows also an optional selection of individual workshops, but only with the obligatory participation in Training of Classical Ballet. An optional choice is possible between the Point shoes technique and jumps workshop – group and Contemporary Dance workshop.

Advance & Professional course of Classical ballet

GROUP

The Advance & Professional course of Classical Ballet is intended for dancers who are studying at the secondary, high or higher school of classical ballet and for professional ballet dancers. This group includes dancers with really good dance condition, good knowledge of the classical ballet and good control of the demanding Point shoes technique.

In the Advance & Professional course of Classical Ballet - GROUP, the participants will work and perform exclusively in the framework of the typical group work by the system “for all the same”.

For Advance & Professional course of Classical Ballet can apply also dancers who are studying or professionally working in the field of only Contemporary dance without strong knowledge of classical ballet technique, but only as an optional selection of two workshops, Classical ballet training and the workshop of Contemporary Dance.

Appropriate age is 17+ years old


The younger or older dancers as prescribed as appropriate age can apply to the group too, if their level of knowledge is suitable for the Advance & Professional Course of Classical Ballet – the group.

  • 1,5 hours Classical  Ballet technique and group repertoire of the Classical Ballet
  • 1,5 hours of Contemporary dance workshop

Elementary advanced course of Classical ballet

SOLO

The criteria for participation in the Elementary Advanced course of Classical Ballet - SOLO are the same as criteria for participation in the Elementary Advanced course of the Classical Ballet - GROUP.

The purpose of the Elementary Advance course - SOLO is to work mainly on easier solo variations, pas de deux (dancing for two – in the case of a sufficient number of male participants) etc., whose choreographies will be composed with regard to the technical knowledge and fitness preparedness of each participant. Next to different shapes of solos (variation, pas de deux, pas de trois ...), the Dancers will dance also group dances at the time when they will not have their own solo performance. The work in the course may be mainly preparation to the work on creating a ballet performance with soloists and corps de Ballet or the work on single solo performance.

The younger or older dancers as prescribed as course age can apply to the solo workshop too, if their level of knowledge and dance condition are suitable for the Elementary Advanced Course of Classical Ballet – the solo.

  • 1.5 hours SOLO repertoire of the classical ballet
  • 1,5 hours of Contemporary dance workshop

Optional applications for the Elementary Advanced course of Classical Ballet - SOLO are also possible without registering the Elementary Advanced course of Classical Ballet - GROUP, but only with the obligatory registering of two workshops, the Training of the Classical Ballet and Elementary Advanced course of Classical Ballet - SOLO.

Advance & Professional course of Classical ballet

SOLO

The criteria for participation in the Advance & Professional course of Classical Ballet - SOLO are the same as criteria for Advance & Professional course course of the Classical Ballet - GROUP.

The purpose of the Advance & Professional course - SOLO is to work on solo variations, pas de deux (in the case of a sufficient number of male participants), pas de trois, pas de quatre etc. from the most known repertoire of the classical ballet. Next to solo, dancers will be classified in groups too at the time when they do not have their own solo performances with solo roles. The work in the course is structurally equivalent to the work on creating a ballet performance with soloists and corps de Ballet. The pedagogue will classify participants in individual variations or solo performances regarding to their quality of knowledge, dance condition and technical readiness.
