He is well known Ballet dancer – first soloist of the Ballet of Slovenian national theatre Opera and Ballet Ljubljana, as an Choreographer and Dance pedagogue 

On Dancs-Piran he had been teaching already in 2019.

In 2020 he will teach at Elementary advanced course and at  Advance & Professional course:

His biography:

Lukas Zuschlag comes from Klagenfurt in Austria, where he completed his studies at the gymnasium and private ballet school in the class of Prof. Marjan Krulanović. In 2004 he joined the SNG Opera in balet (Slovenian National Theatre Opera and Ballet Ljubljana), where he became a soloist in 2007.

He has so far created some outstanding roles in an envious number of ballet productions, among which in Romeo and Juliet (Romeo), Doctor Zhivago (Zhivago), Coppélia (Franz), Tristan and Isolde (Tristan), Giselle (Albrecht), La Sylphide (James), Swan Lake (Rothbart), Cinderella (Prince), Don Quixote (Espada), Picko and Packo (Packo), Who’s the Strongest? (Mouse Prince).

Lukas Zuschlag also received a number of important awards, and among others the Lidia Wisiak Professional Award, the Guest Star Award and the Kulturförderpreis Award, presented in the field of performing arts in Austria.

In addition to his active and thriving dance career, the artist has been also devotedly dedicating himself to choreographing and teaching in the field of classical and contemporary dance at various workshops in Austria and Slovenia. In 2015 he received a Special Recognition Award for an Original Choreography at the Slovenian Ballet Competition TEMSIG. In 2016 he was a choreographer for the opera Otello, staged in a co-production between the SNG Opera in balet Ljubljana and Cankarjev dom and the children’s musical Der Lebkuchenmann, staged in the Klagenfurt State Theatre.
