ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT DANCS BEFORE YOU APPLY

The information provides you important information and rules related to registration and participation at the International summer ballet camp Dancs 2025.

Read them carefully please, to avoid later complications. If you have any questions, please contact us using the CONTACT FORM. Next to important information you will also find other practical information that will make your stay in Piran more comfortable.

Information you need to know

It is possible to apply for the International summer ballet camp Dancs via the ONLINE APPLICATION FORM. The Application form can be submitted after all the required fields are filled. After the form receipt an confirmation e-mail and copy of application form will be sent to e-mail given in the form. E-mail is serving as a document of proof in case that we will not receive your application. In case you will not be able to send the online application form for any reason, you can let us know via the CONTACT FORM and we will send you a manual application form via e-mail.

Dancs 2025 Price list is devided into:

  • payment of participation fee for the participation at the seminar or workshop 
  • payment for accomodation and/or nutrition in Student house Portoroz 

Dancs offers the following payment options:

  • in a single amount
  • in two installments if you apply at least two months prior to beginning of Dancs or if you choose in Application form yourself and for First minute applications
  • In three installments if you apply at least three months prior to beginning of Dancs or if you choose in Application form yourself (not possible for First minute applications)
  • In four installments if you apply at least four months prior to beginning of Dancs or if you choose in Application form yourself (not possible for First minute applications)

the total amount of the registration fee as the accomodation and/or nutrition costs must be fully settled latest one day prior to the camp start, so the number of monthly installments depends on the date when you apply for Dancs. 


In Dancs Application form you can choose the following payment methods:

  • Payment due to received invoice in a single amount
  • Payment due to received invoice with installments

APPLICATION CONFIRMATION RECEIVING AN INVOICE

Soon after we will receive your Dancs Application form, You will receive receipt as an e-mail confirmation. Within few days after your Application form will be processed by Organiser of the Dancs, you will receive an invoice for payment.

If you do not receive a confirmation or invoice within few days, we kindly ask you to contact us via CONTACT FORM or by phone at +386 40 465 160. In this case, your application might had been sent to the spam box, for what we apologize in advance.


PAYMENT

The participation fee for the seminar or workshop at the International summer ballet camp Dancs is divided into the application fee and the rest of balance for payment, since the application fee in high of 50,00 eur is already included in the price of the entire participation fee. The costs for accommodation and/or nutrition in Student house Portoroz is not included in participation fee and is billed separately as additional costs.

Please, proceed the payment after you receive an invoice. Please, proceed the payment to the Bank account shown inside invoice.

Your application will become credible only after Your payment of application fee in the amount of 50.00 eur will be proceed. In any case, the application fee is not refundable.

After application fee is payed, you have to proceed the payment of the rest of balance due to deadline dates indicated in the invoice.


TERMS OF PAYMENTS AND CONDITIONS

Application under “First minute”

    • payment under “First minute” conditions, which applies to applications until 20/03/2025, must be settled in full by 21/03/2025;
    • in case of installment payments, the first installment must be settled no later than March 21, 2025, and the second no later than April 15, 2025;
    • the amount at the “First minute” price is fully non-refundable in the case of cancellation of participation!;
    • in case that you do not settle the payment under the “First minute” conditions in full within the deadline, i.e. by 15/04/2025, you are no longer entitled to the price applicable to registrations under the “First minute” conditions, despite the fact that you registered by 21/3/2025
    • in this case, the already issued invoice is cancelled, and you will then receive a new invoice that includes the amount under the conditions that apply to applications from 21/03/2025.

 

Application under “Full price”

    • the amount must be paid in full no later than seven days before the start of the Dancs 2025 camp;
    • you are entitled to the possibility of paying in installments up to a maximum of four installments, whereby the number of installments depends on the date of registration, as the entire amount of the invoice must be settled no later than seven days before the start of the camp.

 


POSSIBILITY OF INSTALMENTS

The organizer of the International Summer Ballet Camp Dancs 2025 allows payment in several installments, but in accordance with the price class and the date of your registration, as the entire amount of the registration fee and accommodation and/or food must be settled by the deadline defined according to the price class. This is how you can decide to pay:

    • in a full amount
    • in two installments (1st installment: Deposit + the first 50% of the remaining amount after deducting the deposit and 2nd installment: repayment of the remaining amount);
    • in three installments (1st installment: Deposit + the first third of the remaining total amount after the deposit has been deducted, 2nd installment: the second third of the remaining total amount and 3rd installment: repayment of the remaining amount);
    • in four installments (1st installment: Deposit + the first quarter of the remaining total amount after the deposit has been deducted, 2nd installment: the second quarter of the remaining total amount, 3rd installment: the third quarter of the remaining total amount and 4th installment – repayment of the entire amount)

CANCELATION OF PARTICIPATION AND REFUND OF ALREADY PAYED AMOUNT

Conditions for cancellation of participation and reimbursements are described in detail in the rules of Dancs under CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS..

Participants who have already registered for the International Summer Ballet Camp Dancs can cancel their participation before the start of the camp by filling the CANCELLATION OF PARTICIPATION form. This is the basis for asserting reimbursement rights. The form must be filled out by the person to whom the invoice for payment of the registration fee, participation fee and overnight stay is addressed, or by the person who filled out and sent the application form to the  International Summer Ballet Camp Dancs.

To inssure the risk of cancellation, the registered participant or the parents or legal guardian of a minor participant can decide between the cancellation scale and refund amount under the conditions set by the organizer of the International Summer Ballet Camp Dancs or insurance of the risk of cancellation with one of the insurance companies under the conditions determined by the selected insurance company. Refunds are not duplicated in case of cancellation!

The following rights and reimbursements apply only to those participants who do not decide to insure the risk of cancellation with one of the insurance companies!

Reimbursement rights determined by the Dancs organizer:

    • the proportional refund is calculated and returned only after the entire amount has been paid according to the invoice, which the participant or their legal representative (parent, guardian) is obliged to pay;
    • until the participation invoice is paid in full, the refund is not calculated and implemented.

 

The scale of cancellations and refunds in case of registration under the First minute price, determined by the Dancs organizer (sign – means minus % of the total price):

    • up to 60 days before the start of the camp – 70% of the total price according to the invoice, and the registration fee of EUR 50.00 and administrative costs of EUR 23.00 are deducted from the remaining amount;
    • 59 to 26 days before the start of the camp – 80% of the total price according to the invoice, and the registration fee in the amount of 50.00 euros and administrative costs in the amount of 23.00 euros are deducted from the remaining amount;
    • 25 to 16 days before the start of the camp – 90% of the total price according to the invoice, and the registration fee in the amount of 50.00 euros and administrative costs in the amount of 23.00 euros are deducted from the remaining amount;
    • 15 days before the start of the camp or early departure before the end of the camp, regardless of the reason – 100% of the total price according to the invoice.

 

The scale of cancellation and the amount of refund in case of registration under the price class Full price, determined by the organizer of Dancs (sign – means minus % of the total price):

    • up to 60 days before the start of the camp – 30% of the total price according to the invoice, and the registration fee of EUR 50.00 and administrative costs of EUR 23.00 are deducted from the remaining amount;
    • 59 to 45 days before the start of the camp – 40% of the total price according to the invoice, and the registration fee of EUR 50.00 and administrative costs of EUR 23.00 are deducted from the remaining amount;
    • 44 to 26 days before the start of the camp – 60% of the total price according to the invoice, and the registration fee of EUR 50.00 and administrative costs of EUR 23.00 are deducted from the remaining amount;
    • 25 to 16 days before the start of the camp – 80% of the total price according to the invoice, and the registration fee in the amount of 50.00 euros and administrative costs in the amount of 23.00 euros are deducted from the remaining amount;
    • 15 days before the start of the camp or early departure before the end of the camp, regardless of the reason – 100% of the total price according to the invoice.

After registration, you can take out insurance for the risk of cancellation of participation with one of the insurance companies (In Slovenia: Wiz, Triglav, Coris, Sava, etc.).

In the case that you take out insurance with one of the insurance companies, you will not be subject to the cancellation scale and refund amount set by the organizer, but to the conditions set by the selected insurance company.

When you should take out the insurance depends on the conditions of the individual insurance company, but it is best to take out it as soon as possible after applying to Dancs.

Transferring a participant from a course of lower difficulty level, i.e. Elementary advanced course of Classical ballet to a workshop of higher difficulty level, i.e. Advance & Professional workshop of Classical ballet (in case of participation in the course in full)

In case that the Organizer finds out that the Participant’s knowledge exceeds the required knowledge for Elementary advanced course of Classical ballet, it may suggest to Participant to be promoted to workshop of higher difficulty level, i.e. Advance & Professional workshop of Classical ballet. Promotion is possible onlyafter obtaining the consent of adult Participants or consent of Parents or Guardians of minor Participant.

The Organizer may also promote the Participant from Elementary advanced course of Classical ballet to Advance & Professional workshop of Classical ballet on Participant’s request, but only if it is exposed to the Organizer no later than at the end of the second day of her/his participation at the Dancs. The Organizer will allow promotion to Advance & Professional workshop of Classical ballet if Participant’s knowledge exceeds the required knowledge for Elementary advanced course of Classical ballet and after obtaining the consent of Parents or Guardians of minor Participant.

Surcharge: Such a promotion will be proceed only when adult Participant or Parent or Guardian of minor Participant agrees to cover difference in the price between the price for Elementary advanced course of Classical ballet and the price for Advance & Professional workshop of Classical ballet.

Reassigning a Participant to a course of lower difficulty level (in case of participation in the course in full)

The Organizer may reassign Participant from Advance & Professional workshop of Classical ballet to Elementary advanced course of Classical ballet if establish that Participant has not enough knowledge required for participation in Advance & Professional workshop of Classical ballet and therefor inhibits the expected process of group work and hinders other participants’ progress. Reassign is done without consent of Participant or Parents or Guardians of minor Participant. Prior to Participant’s reassignation to the course of lower difficulty level, the Organizer will inform him/her or her/his Parents or Guardians.

The Organizer can also reassign Participant from Advance & Professional workshop of Classical ballet to Elementary advanced course of Classical ballet on her/his request. Request should be proposed no later than by the end of the second day of participation at the Dancs. In case of minor Participant the reassign will be done only with consent of Participant’s parent or guardian.

Refundation: In the case of reassignation, the Organizer does not refund any difference between the price for participation in Elementary advanced course of Classical ballet  and the price for participation in Advance & Professional workshop of Classical ballet, since the Participant had originally applied for participation in Advance & Professional workshop of Classical ballet.

Promoting a Participant from a single workshop in Elementary advanced course of Classical ballet to a single workshop in Advance & Professional course of Classical ballet

The organizer may propose to Participant to promote from the single workshop in Elementary advancedcourse of Classical ballet to a single workshop in Advance Professional workshop of Classical ballet. Such a promotion can be proposed also by Participant when she or he establish that her or his knowledge exceeds the required knowledge for single workshop in Elementary advanced course of Classical ballet. Therefor the Participant will attend only that worshop in Advance & Professional workshop of Classical ballet but the rest of workshops in Elementary advanced course of Classical ballet. Promotion will be carried out only after obtaining the consent of the adult Participants or the consent of the Parents or Guardians of the minor Participant.

Surcharge: The promotion from the single workshop in Elementary advanced course of Classical ballet to a single workshop in Advance Professional workshop of Classical ballet will be proceed only when an additional fee of 60 EUR for single week or 120 EUR for both weeks will be paid.

Reassigning the Participant from an single workshop in Advance & Professional workshop of Classical ballet to a single workshop in Elementary advanced course of Classical ballet

The Organizer may reassign Participant from an individual workshop in Advance & Professional workshop of Classical to an individual workshop in Elementary advanced course of Classical ballet without consent of Participant or consent of Parents or Guardians of minor Participant. Such a reassign can be made only if Organizer finds out that Participant’s knowledge is not on the level required for a single workshop in Advance & Professional workshop of Classical. When the minor Partcipant is reassigned the Organizer will inform Participant’s Parent or Guardian prior to reassignation.

The Organizer may transfer a Participant from an individual workshop in Advance & Professional workshop of Classical to an individual workshop in Elementary advanced course of Classical ballet also on the Participant’s request.

Refundation: In such a case of reassignation, the Organizer does not refund any difference between the price for participation in Elementary advanced course of Classical ballet  and the price for participation in Advance & Professional workshop of Classical ballet, since the Participant had originally applied for participation in Advance & Professional workshop of Classical ballet.

Exceptional promotion of Participant from Elementary advanced course of Classical ballet to Advance Professional workshop of Classical ballet

The organizer may propose to Participant to be promoted from Elementary advanced course of Classical ballet to Advance Professional workshop of Classical ballet when establish that Participant is an exceptional talent.

Exseptional promotion does not charge any extra costs.

Cancellation of a single Course or Workshop

A certain number of participants is required for each, Course and Workshop. In the case that participants in Course or Workshop will be less than 20, the Organizer may cancel the course, but not later than 14 days prior the beginning of the Camp. In the case of cancellation of Course or Workshop, the Organizer will inform the registered participants and offer them a possibility to attend one of other courses. If registered participants do not decide for one of the other courses, all the funds already paid will be refund.

Cancellation of entire International summer ballet camp Dancs-Piran

The Organizer reserves the rights to cancel the entire Camp in the case of an accident, illness or any other reason that have result force majeure and is impossible to have influence on them. In this case all already paid funds will be refund to applicants.

The Organizer of the International Summer Ballet Camp Dancs reserves the rights to replace individual, pre-announced Pedagogues. The change may occur due to the termination of cooperation by the pedagogue, but the Organizer may also decide to change the Pedagogue, if he finds that she or he is not ready to follow the instructions of the Organizer in the direction of required professional action or instructions adopted by the Organizer to ensure the safety of all Participants.

All Participants must obtain a comprehensive health and accident insurance for the whole period of the Dancs camp duration!

The insurance must cover all the costs in all circumstances that may arise during the participation at the International Summer Ballet camp Dancs.

All Participants of the International Summer Ballet camp Dancs are obliged to provide the comprehensive health and accident insurance document to the responsible person at the reception desk by their arrival to the Dancs.

Citizens of the European Union who do not have permanent health insurance in Slovenia must bring with them their own European Health Insurance Card!

Avditorij Portorož – HOUSE RULES

1. All participants of the International Summer Ballet Camp Dancs are obliged to strictly follow this Agenda, all signs and instructions of those in charge during their stay in the Avditorij Portorož.
For any questions during your stay in Avditorij Portorož, please contact the responsible person of the Dancs organizer.
In the following, we would like to familiarize you with the house rules and provide you with essential information for your stay in the Avditorij Portorož.

2. REGISTER – LOGOUT
Participants of the International Summer Ballet Camp Dancs, who are not staying in the Portorož Student Center, are obliged to register at the reception desk of the Avditorij Portorož upon their first arrival.

3. Participants enter the premises of Avditorij Portorož on a daily basis through the outdoor entrance, which is located next to the Avditorij Portorož Cafe. At the entrance, there will be a reception desk with a responsible person on duty throughout the duration of Dancs activities, who will keep records of entrances and exits from the Avditorij.

4. Entry to the Avditorij will be possible one hour before the start of the first daily Dancs activity, and all participants must leave the Avditorij no later than 45 minutes after the end of the last daily Dancs activity. Participants must announce their arrival and departure to the responsible person at the reception desk.

5. Leaving the Avditorij during breaks is permitted, but minor participants who have the consent of their parents and guardians for independent exits and adult participants must sign in the exit sheet at each exit in order to record the number of people in the Avditorij premises. For minor participants whose parents or legal guardians do not give their consent for independent outings, the outings will be organized at their request accompanied by a responsible person of the organizer.

6. Rehearsals and events take place according to the schedule determined by the disposition or sequence of the event.

7. Participants of the International Summer Ballet Camp Dancs and their companions may enter only through the entrance for the performers. Underage participants must be accompanied by an adult. During the Dancs activities, there will be a guard on duty at the entrance for participants.

8. Pets and other animals are not allowed to enter, unless this is provided for the Dancs activities or if they are accompanied by disabled persons.

9. During Dancs activities, only Dancs participants and performers in individual performances may be present in the space (stage) where workshops, rehearsals and performances take place. Viewing workshops, rehearsals and performances is possible only by paying the entrance fee or obtaining the consent of the organizer of Dancs or Avditorij Portorož-Portorose. Visitors are not allowed to linger on the stage, they can watch workshops, rehearsals and performances exclusively in the space intended for visitors.

10. The consumption of any food is prohibited in the inner hall, on the inner stage and on the stage of the Amphitheater, unless this is foreseen in the performance. It is allowed to have a non-alcoholic drink with you, preferably water. The organizer will designate special areas for the consumption of food and other drinks.

11. TAKE CARE OF THINGS
Avditorij Portorož and the organizer of Dancs bear no responsibility for money, valuables and all other personal items of the participants.

12. FORGOTTEN THINGS
The organizers of Dancs and the Avditorij Portorož are not responsible for forgotten items. The organizer of Dancs will keep any forgotten items found for up to two months after the end of the camp and hand them over to their owners only upon request.

13. SMOKING
It is strictly forbidden to smoke, drink alcohol or consume other harmful and illegal substances in the entire area of Avditorij Portorož. Smoking is allowed exclusively for adult participants in specially designated places outside the Avditorij Portorož. In the case of non-compliance with the relevant legislation of the Republic of Slovenia, the Avditorij will be forced to take appropriate action and charge you for this type of action according to the internal price list.

14. ALCOHOL AND OTHER ILLEGAL SUBSTANCES
The introduction of alcoholic beverages and other harmful and illegal substances into the Avditorij Portorož and its entire area is strictly prohibited. Their consumption is also strictly prohibited.

15. FIRE
Lighting any kind of fire is strictly prohibited.

16. FIRE ORDER and SAFETY
Signs of emergency exits, evacuation routes and fire extinguishers are posted in individual fire sectors. Follow the instructions of the fire regulations and follow the instructions of the staff. The use of heating or cooking appliances in the Avditorij is not permitted. The introduction of flammable or explosive substances or substances with an unpleasant smell.

17. FIRST AID
In case of emergency, contact the organizer of Dancs, who will immediately take care of further procedures.

18. ORDER AND CLEANLINESS
Please be as careful as possible with the things you use. The participants of Dancs are obliged to take care of order and cleanliness and to pay careful attention to the inventory of the Avditorij Portorož and of organizer of Dancs-Piran. Entry into the training areas (stage, ballet hall) is permitted only in slippers.
The authorized person – the cleaner does not touch and/or clean up the personal belongings of the participants. The participants themselves are responsible for maintaining order related to the personal belongings of the participants.
The removal of any inventory from the Avditorij Portorož is prohibited.

19. Only technical personnel may be present on stage during technical tasks.

20. During the performance, performers who are not on stage may only stay in the dressing rooms and backstage; entrance to the lobby and hall is not permitted.

21. The presence of photographers, journalists or filming crew is exclusively the domain of the Dancs organizer. Photography and recording by unauthorized persons or external visitors to the workshops is strictly prohibited. For any kind of photography or recording, it is necessary to obtain the written consent of the organizer.

22. Parking in the Avditorij Portorož-Portorose parking spaces is only possible for the needs of the organizer with the prior consent of the Avditorij Portorož. The number of parking spaces is limited.

23. In the case of inventory damage due to negligence on the part of the participant, they are obliged to cover the cost for the resulting damage.
Deliberate destruction of equipment in the Avditorij Portorož is charged in accordance with the price set by the Avditorij Portorož.

24. All possible complications are resolved with the organizer or the management of Avditorij Portorož-Portorose.

HOUSE RULES

(from June 24 to September 24)

GENERAL RULES
All participants of the International Summer Ballet Camp Dancs who stay in the Portorož Student house are obliged to strictly follow this Agenda, all signs and instructions of the employees during their stay in the Portorož Student house.
For any questions during your stay, please contact the reception or the responsible person of the Dancs organizer. We look forward to your feedback.
In the following, we would like to familiarize you with the house rules and provide you with essential information for your stay in the Portorož Student house.

LOG IN – LOG OUT
Upon arrival, first check in with a valid identity document at the reception desk, overnight stay of unregistered persons is a criminal offence.
We do not accept minors unaccompanied by a responsible adult.
In the event that the participant of Dancs is registered for overnight stays and/or meals at the Portorož Student house, but does not come to Portorož, the amount for overnight stays and/or meals will not be refunded to her/him.
Portorož Student house reserves the right to change the price list.
Registration is possible on Sunday, 27/7/2025 and on Sunday, 3/8/2025 until noon and on Monday, 28/7/2025 and Monday, 4/8/2025 between 8 am and 9 am. Upon arrival at Portorož Student house the Participants should register with a valid ID at the reception.
Staying of unregistered persons in Portorož Student house during the night is strictly prohibited and illegal.
On the day of departure, you must leave the room and do check out by 10 a.m. at the reception desk. If you have personal outstanding obligations to the Portorož Student house, settle them upon departure please.

In case of early departure, we charge up to 100% of the total amount for services ordered but not used.

MEALS
• buffet breakfast from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m
• lunch from 13:00 to 14:00
• dinner from 19:00 to 20:00

In the case that, due to obligations related to Dancs, it will not be possible to visit an individual meal at the stated times, meals will be organized at other times. However all lunch meals from Monday to Saturday during the Dancs camp will be imported and served in Avditorij Portorož.

Food, dishes and utensils are not allowed to be taken from the restaurant to other areas of the Portorož Student house or outside of it.

NIGHT’S REST
Disturbing the peace with noisy behavior is not allowed between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m., so please be considerate. In case of noise, please contact the security guard at the reception.

KEYS – CHIPS
Each room receives one chip for the entrance to the Portorož Student house during the time when the entrance is locked. You must report the loss of the chip and settle it at the reception.

PARKING
The Portorož Student house has its own parking lot, which operates on a first-come, first-served basis. Reservations are not possible.

LAUNDRY
The Portorož Student house has a laundry room. Tokens for the washing machine or dryer can be purchased at the reception.

ROOM EQUIPMENT
Bed linen is included in the room price.
There are NO towels, soap, dishes, utensils and other kitchen and bathroom accessories, so we advise you to bring your own.

FIRE ORDER and SAFETY
Signs of emergency exits, evacuation routes and fire extinguishers are posted in individual fire sectors. Follow the instructions of the fire regulations and follow the instructions of the staff. The use of heating or cooking appliances in the rooms is not allowed. The introduction of flammable or explosive substances or substances with an unpleasant smell.

EXIT THE PORTOROŽ STUDENT HOUSE
It is strictly forbidden for minors to leave the Portorož Student house without the consent of their parents or legal representative or unaccompanied by responsible person if so requested by their parents or their legal representative. It is also strictly forbidden for minors to leave without announcing their departure to the person in charge and entering it in the exit sheet. Adult participants are obliged to sign in the exit sheet when leaving, and they are also obliged to enter the time of return to the Portorož Student house in the exit sheet.

The prescribed time for the evening return of minors to the Portorož Student house is 9:00 p.m., except when organized Dancs activities are taking place. Minors are prohibited from staying outside the Portorož Student house after 9 p.m.
Adult participants do not have limited exits, but it is recommended that they sign in the exit sheet at each exit in order to record the number of people in the Portorož Student house at any time.

ORDER AND CLEANLINESS IN THE BEDROOMS
Please be as careful as possible with the things you use. If you need additional cleaning, please let us know the day before.
Participants staying in the Portorož Student house are obliged to take care of order and cleanliness and to keep a close eye on the inventory.
Only slippers are allowed in the bedrooms.
Every day, an authorized person cleans the bedrooms in which the participants live.
The authorized person – the cleaner does not touch and/or clean up the personal belongings of the participants. The participants themselves are responsible for maintaining order related to the personal belongings of the participants.
It is forbidden to remove any inventory from the dormitories or the Portorož Student house.
Upon arrival, participants receive bed linen, which they are obliged to treat in an exemplary manner. The participants place the bedding on the mattress, pillow and cover themselves. Bed linen is changed by the responsible persons of the Dancs. When changing the bed linen, the participants are obliged to remove the old bed linen from the pillows, mattresses and blankets and return it to the responsible person, who then hands them the new bed linen.

TAKE CARE OF THINGS
Portorož Student house and the organizer of Dancs bear no responsibility for money, valuables and all other objects of the guests.

FORGOTTEN THINGS
Forgotten or found items in the Portorož Student house are kept at the reception until the end of the current season (September 30). After this period, lost objects are handled according to applicable regulations. Forgotten items are sent by post only at your request and at your expense.
The organizer of Dancs and the Portorož Student house are not responsible for forgotten items. The organizer of Dancs will keep any forgotten items found for up to two months after the end of the camp and hand them over to their owners only upon request.

INCURENCE OF DAMAGE and MOVEMENT OF FURNITURE
Please do not take the inventory out of the room or Portorož Student house and DO NOT move  the furniture. You are responsible for damage caused by your fault. Inventory damage depends on the type of damage and is charged accordingly.
It is forbidden to take any inventory out of the Portorož Student house.
In case that inventory is damaged due to negligence on the part of the participant, the Participant responsible for damage is obliged to cover the resulting damage.
Intentional destruction of equipment in the Portorož Student house is charged according to the price determined by Portorož Student house.

FAILURES
You are obliged to report any defects in the room to the reception of the Portorož Student house immediately. The maintainer will do his best to fix the malfunction as soon as possible.

DEPARTURE
Upon departure, participants staying in the Portorož Student house are obliged to remove the bedding from the mattress, pillow and cover themselves and hand it over to the responsible person of the organizer. They are also obliged to put away all their belongings, clean the rooms of rubbish and personal equipment that they do not intend to take with them.

PROTECTION OF THE ENVIRONMENT and CARE OF HEALTH
During your stay in the Portorož Student house, we ask you to take care of the rational use of water, elevators, air conditioners, windows and electricity.
For example, when you have a window open, close the conventomat; if bad weather is forecast, close the windows and lower the blinds all the way before leaving home; take care of your cardio training with every step you walk, …
We also ask you to be clothed in common areas and not to walk around in a bathing suit.

ALCOHOL AND OTHER ILLEGAL SUBSTANCES
It is strictly forbidden to bring alcoholic beverages and other harmful and illegal substances into the Portorož Student house and its entire area. Their consumption is also strictly prohibited.

SMOKING
It is strictly forbidden to smoke, consume alcohol or consume other harmful and illegal substances in the entire area of the Portorož Student Home. Smoking is permitted exclusively for adult participants in specially designated places outside the Portorož Student house. In case of non-observance of the relevant legislation of the Republic of Slovenia, the Portorož Student house will be forced to take appropriate action and charge you for such actions according to the internal price list.

KEEPING IN BEDROOMS
It is strictly forbidden for participants to enter bedrooms and keep participants in bedrooms where they do not live!
It is strictly forbidden to keep male participants in bedrooms where girls live and vice versa!

FIRST AID
In case of emergency, contact the Dancs organizer or the reception of the Portorož Student house.

ENFORCEMENT OF HOUSE ORDERS and VIOLATIONS
The supervision of compliance with the house rules is carried out by the employees of Portorož Student house, the organizer of Dancs and the cleaning service. They have the opportunity to check its implementation in all rooms at any time without the prior permission of the guest.
In case of violations of the house rules, measures are taken: entry ban, removal from the home’s exterior and interior spaces, temporary confiscation of substances or objects, and compensation for the damage done.

FINAL PROVISIONS
The participants are obliged to inform the organizer about any non-compliance with the rules by other participants.
Participants must follow the instructions of the organizer and all existing rules and regulations for a safe, efficient and successful implementation of the program.
The organizer of Dancs reserves the right to remove a participant from the camp in the case that he or she repeatedly violates the stated rules, poses a danger to himself or herself or to other participants and workshop providers. In such a case, the costs will not be reimbursed.

FAMILIARITY WITH HOUSE RULES
Upon confirmation of the reservation or check-in at the hostel, it is understood that you are familiar with the house rules, agree with them and will follow them.

We reserve the right to change the house rules (in case of special events). For further clarification, you can contact the receptionist or the manager.

The Portorož Student house has two and three bed rooms:

  • There is one shared bathroom on two rooms
  • All bedrooms are equipped with air conditioning.

The Portorož Student house provides:

  • pillows, mattresses and headgears,
  • bedding,
  • a closet for each individual Participant for the storage of personal belongings.

The Portorož Student house do not provide:

  • towels for personal hygiene,
  • bath towels,
  • personal hygiene (soap, hair shampoo, shower gel, etc.),
  • slippers.

The Participants who reside in the Portorož Student house during International summer ballet camp Dancs are obliged to bring with them all the items that Portorož Student house do not provide!

All Participants of the International summer ballet camp Dancs must bring with them all for ballet work required clothes (girls: ballet leotards, full lenght ballet tights, soft ballet shoes; boys: ballet tricks, suspensors, T-shirts, ballet shoes). The Participants who will apply for Course or Workshop for which Point shoes are required, must bring with them their own Point shoes.

All the Participants must bring with them their own towels to wipe sweat during work.

Girls must tie their hair in such a way that forehead and neck are fully visible.

Male dancers with long hair have to tie them appropriately too.

Hanging earrings, bracelets, necklaces and rings are not allowed to be worn during the Seminar or Workshop work.

Long or artificial nails are not allowed. The girls must have a well-designed, shortened nails on the hands, so that they do not endanger the health of other Participants and especially male dancers – partners.

Any hazardous beauty supplements that could endanger their own or other participant’s safety and health are not permitted.

It is allowe to enter in Ballet studios strictly in ballet shoes.

Only non alcoholic drinks are allowed in Ballet studios.

If the Participant of the International summer ballet camp Dancs does not wish to stay in the Portorož Student house during the camp duration, or if all the capacities in the Portorož Student house have already been filled, she or he can find another residence in Portorož or Piran. For this purpose, we offer a few more affordable accommodation providers.

The Organizer has no influence on the free capacities of an individual provider! Therefore, we suggest that you arrange your accommodation as soon as possible.
